Our Founders

Founders Leah Klatt & Trudy Collings first planted the seeds of PAAVANI during an Ayurvedic Herbalism Apprenticeship. Discovering their shared passion for Ayurvedic skincare, they determined to build something beautiful. A few years later, the two began offering traditional Ayurvedic body care therapies in California in 2014, and PAAVANI was born. They began developing their own signature line, starting with aromatherapy spritzers and body oils. Today, they continue to broaden their offerings from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, a place of wild, natural beauty and creative community.

Eco-Conscious Packaging

PAAVANI packages their products in glass rather than plastic and sources their labels from a small, environmentally friendly company that prints from recycled paper stock and uses wind-generated electricity.

Their labels are also digitally printed with water-based inks that have no harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This little-to-no-paper-waste approach lets you rest assured that in choosing PAAVANI you are supporting the health of the earth as well as your skin.
